Almost forgot - Christmas photos!

I almost forgot to post these!  We took Landon to get his 9 month/Christmas photos done two weeks ago - check out how great they turned out!  If anyone is ever in need of an AMAZING photographer, please let me know - you won't be disappointed!

Big Changes, New Adventures

Hey guys! :)  So I know how terrible I've been at updating, but it isn't always easy to find computer time when I'm chasing Landon and Lola around the house!  So since my last update, we've had a handful of first holidays, milestones and new adventures with Landon.  He is currently just over 10 months old, has 5 teeth, climbs up stairs, walks along furniture and when holding onto Mommy or Daddy, and has OFFICIALLY (as of just last night) taken his first few steps - one of which I was able to get on camera! :)  His first Halloween and Thanksgiving have come and gone - it's mind blowing how fast time really does go in the first year.  Here Landon is almost a year old and I'm still reminiscing about what it was like this time last year still being pregnant!  I feel as if I've known him all my life.  On a current note, we are looking forward to celebrating Landon's first Christmas with our friends and family.  He loves the Christmas tree, and also loves trying to eat the ornaments - something he picked up from naughty Lola ;)  He's onto eating "big boy" food as we call it, enjoying mostly whatever Tanner and I are eating at the time.  No stranger anxiety has set in, even with starting daycare a few weeks ago.  He LOVES going to Mary's to play with the other kids two days a week :)  Today we will be taking him to meet Santa.  I'm hoping he does alright, but who knows - either way it'll make for a good picture, screaming or not (I'm so nice, I know!).

As for Tanner and I, we are both doing great!  I started working with my parents' company (Tanner also works there) as an assistant to my mom doing tax books, lots of filing, etc.  It's nice to be back making some extra money, and having a little more ME time.  Although I miss Landon a lot during the few days I work, he loves getting to spend time around other kids and having his independence as well.  Tanner has been doing just as well - working hard for us and we've even got to sneak in a few nights out here and there, which is always nice.  We look forward to this new year as it brings not only Landon's first birthday, but purchasing our first house together and our WEDDING!  Only 5 1/2 months until the big day - can you believe it?  It's been a year that we've been engaged and I feel as if it happened yesterday.  Regardless, it's going to be a very busy 2012 for us!  We hope you all are doing just as well as us, and that you have a wonderful holiday season with your family and friends - I know we will! :)  Take care, and enjoy the picture update!

Hanging out at home with Daddy :)

Messy eater

He was a hamburger for Halloween - we spent a weekend at my family's cabin in Townsend with Casey, Cassie, Tanner's sister Carly, and her friend Anna :) Got the kids dressed up in their costumes and took them to the Lakewood Zoo

And Mommy forgot Landon's mittens, so he had to use socks. Oops!

More playing with Daddy up north

Dinner time in Townsend, mid-November

Landon's great-grandpa George and great-uncle Dan came up north to visit - Grandpa George brought this dessert decorating stuff, so Auntie Ali and I had a little fun trying to use it.

Playing with Mommy :)

Back to Halloween - over at Auntie Jean's we decided to play dress up

Landon and his cousin, Kylie :)
